St Mark's Episcopal Church

About this church

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church celebrates Holy Eucharist Rite II Sundays at 10:00 a.m. at 7615 FM 762 in Richmond, with the same service carried on Facebook Live. Intergenerational Christian formation begins at 9:00, and coffee and fellowship follow worship at 11:00. Parking surrounds the building. Ushers provide bulletins, directions, and help with accommodations; visitor name tags and cards are available, but the church says newcomers will not be singled out.

Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday, and baptized people from any faith tradition are invited to receive; others may approach the rail for a priest’s blessing. A newcomer’s bag and Parish Hall coffee hour provide two low-pressure ways to learn more after worship. Youth in grades six through twelve meet for Christian formation at 9:00 upstairs in the education building, using a lectionary-based curriculum, and also serve as acolytes, readers, musicians, and volunteers. Their outreach includes food drives, blessing bags, and work with local organizations. For a first visit, St. Mark’s offers an unusually complete sequence: formation before church, a bulletin-guided Eucharist in person or online, clear Communion guidance, accessibility help from greeters, and conversation over coffee afterward.
