Rusk Church of Christ

About this church

Rusk Church of Christ schedules Sunday Bible class for 9:30 a.m., with worship following at 10:45. Wednesday activities occupy the 6:30-to-7:30 p.m. hour. Rusk describes itself as a loving church family where guests can grow through Scripture, relationships, and service. ACTS Groups add a Sunday fellowship meal and devotional in homes and other locations, with multiple groups available. Those small gatherings are intended for connection, encouragement, and prayer, but a first-time guest should ask which group is meeting rather than treating the church building as the automatic location.

The church's stated mission is to glorify God by making disciples through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Its ministries connect that purpose to CASA, a substance-addiction support program that starts at 6:30 Sunday and Wednesday evening and concludes at 7:30, as well as jail outreach and World Bible School. Global missions are framed as serving neighbors where they are and participating in work beyond Rusk. Visitors can combine the Sunday class and worship with a fifteen-minute transition between them. Wednesday provides the main general midweek hour, while CASA also operates during that period and on Sunday evening. Because the official site is served over HTTP rather than HTTPS, the corrected directory link preserves the working first-party domain; guests who prefer not to submit information through an unsecured form can call the published church number instead.
