About this church
Covenant Presbyterian Church holds traditional worship Sundays at 10:50 a.m. in its sanctuary and by livestream. The order is built around prayer, Scripture, music, and a sermon, drawing on historic and biblical roots while making room for contemporary expressions of joy and reverence. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday and also carried to homebound members. The Chancel Choir sings every week, choosing spiritual, classical, folk, and world music to match the day's Scripture; it rehearses Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Handbells rehearse at 6 and contribute periodically. Ushers, lay readers, musicians, and other members share leadership in the service.
Families are encouraged to worship together. A nursery remains open for infants, new walkers, and toddlers throughout the service, while activity bags in the narthex give children quiet, creative ways to participate. Sunday School for kindergarten through fifth grade uses Bible stories, fellowship, mission, and activities to encourage questions and spiritual growth. Local outreach includes packing Friday food for middle-school students who might otherwise go hungry over the weekend, along with wider Presbyterian mission offerings. Covenant also operates a weekday preschool from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The church expressly welcomes people across sex, gender, ethnicity, race, and age, but its visitor information does not specify service length, parking, step-free entrances, hearing assistance, attire, nursery security, or who may receive Communion.
