Rocky Point Baptist Church

About this church

Rocky Point Baptist Church in Stephenville begins Sundays with classes for children, youth, and adults at 9:00 a.m., followed by gathered worship at 10:30. The main service is also livestreamed on the church’s YouTube channel. A prayer service meets at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, and Cross Trainers for kindergarten through sixth grade meets alongside the seventh- through twelfth-grade youth program at 6:00. Youth also gather Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the gym’s youth room.

For younger children, the nursery serves babies through preschool age and emphasizes a safe environment that gives parents peace of mind; the church states that nursery workers are vetted and trained. School-age programs combine biblical learning, memory work, and play, while Rocky Point Wee School extends the church’s connection with local families into the week. Adults considering deeper involvement can attend a Discovery Class explaining the congregation’s beliefs, practices, and membership. The resulting profile is more than a single Sunday hour: visitors will find age-specific Sunday School, livestreamed Baptist worship, recurring Sunday-evening prayer and discipleship, a separate youth night, and a defined path for learning about membership.
