Wylie Church of Christ

About this church

Wylie Church of Christ worships Sunday at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m., with both services streamed live and earlier messages available online. Children remain with their families during worship rather than moving to a separate children's service. Bible classes for birth through fifth grade use classrooms near the main auditorium, where volunteers help new households find the correct room. Classes use age-appropriate teaching, discussion, and activities in a safe setting; the current class timetable should be checked separately because the official site clearly publishes the two worship hours but not one universal education time on every page.

The congregation summarizes its activity as connect, grow, serve, and love, with a vision of connecting Christ to the community through biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and compassionate service. Its beliefs emphasize Scripture, salvation by grace through faith, repentance, confession of Jesus, baptism into Christ, simple New Testament worship, and unity expressed through love. Women's and men's ministries combine Bible study, fellowship, retreats, conversation, and practical service in the church and community. Families may notify the church before a first visit so volunteers are ready to help with children's rooms. Someone evaluating the preaching can watch either Sunday stream, while parents should expect children to rejoin or remain with them for the full worship service.
