The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Fort Herriman 2nd Ward, Herriman

About this church

Herriman, Utah has twelve meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across the city, and this one, at 12737 Pioneer Rd, is about half a mile from the closest other. Wheelchair access reaches the entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating, and the building is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.

The Fort Herriman 2nd Ward meets at 9 a.m., the Fort Herriman 1st Ward at 10:30, and the Fort Herriman 3rd Ward at 12 p.m. Sacrament meeting takes close to an hour, with hymns, prayers, the sacrament, and talks from members, followed by a second hour of classes, including Primary for children. No fee is charged, and a first-time visitor is welcome in casual dress. Because congregations like these three are organized by neighborhood, sharing a building keeps things simple for members nearby. A quick call ahead of a first visit is a sensible way to confirm nothing has changed.
