The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Roy 12th Ward, Roy

About this church

Roy, Utah has fourteen meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and this one, at 4524 S 2525 W, sits about half a mile from the next closest. Wheelchair access is built into the entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating.

Roy 12th Ward begins at 9 a.m. and Roy 16th Ward follows at 10:30 a.m., each with a two-hour block. The opening hour is sacrament meeting, hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, and the second hour turns to classes, Primary included for children. Nothing is charged to attend, and no offering plate is passed around. Sunday activity in the area tends to peak around 10 a.m. Because these two congregations' schedules are set locally and can shift from year to year, a quick call before a first visit is a good idea.
