The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Hunter Ward, Saratoga Springs

About this church

Seventeen meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints appear in the Saratoga Springs, Utah directory, and this one at 267 W Weatherby Dr has its nearest neighbor about six-tenths of a mile away. Accessible parking, entrance, restrooms and seating make the building easy to reach for anyone using a wheelchair.

Four congregations divide the day: the Hunter Ward at 9 a.m., the Morgan Ward at 10:30 a.m., the Saddlebrook Ward at 12 p.m., and the Lake Mountain SA 5th Ward at 1:30 p.m. Sacrament meeting runs about an hour, filled with hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, and a second hour of classes follows, including Primary for children. Visiting costs nothing, and no collection plate is passed. Since these hours are set locally and can change from year to year, a quick call ahead of a first visit is worth doing.
