The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Saratoga Springs 1st Ward, Saratoga Springs

About this church

Saratoga Springs, Utah has seventeen meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the one at 587 Saratoga Dr is about half a mile from its nearest neighbor. It holds Sunday hours from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with attendance generally heaviest between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and topping out around 11 a.m.

Four wards share the building: Saratoga Springs 1st Ward at 9 a.m., Heritage 1st Ward at 10:30 a.m., Saratoga Springs 2nd Ward at 12 p.m., and Wander 1st Ward at 1:30 p.m. The staggered schedule reflects how congregations here are organized by neighborhood. Hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from congregation members fill the first hour, and a second hour of classes with Primary for children follows. Attending costs nothing, and no collection plate goes around. Since local leaders set the schedule and it can shift from year to year, calling ahead of a first visit is worth the minute.
