The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Thatcher-Penrose 1st Ward, Tremonton

About this church

Tremonton, Utah has seven meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, and this one at 11475 W 10400 N sits a little over two miles from the closest other. The building is open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Three congregations share the building on Sunday: the Thatcher-Penrose 1st Ward at 9 a.m., the Salt Creek 2nd Ward at 10:30 a.m., and the Thatcher-Penrose 2nd Ward at 12 p.m. Each sacrament meeting is built around an hour of hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, followed by a second hour of classes and Primary for the youngest. There's no charge to visit, and no collection plate is passed around. Because these hours are revised locally over the years, a quick call before a first visit is a sensible step.
