Fairfax Baptist Church

About this church

Fairfax Baptist Church begins Sunday with Bible study at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship at 11, fellowship at noon, and a young-adult Bible study at 12:30. Online worship is available through the church site. Tuesday Bible study meets at 6 p.m. and Thursday study at 10 a.m. when in session; both take summer breaks, so the homepage should be checked for their current resumption dates. Thursday choir rehearsal ordinarily begins at 7, with additional schedule exceptions posted online.

Children participate in worship, Children's Church, Sunday classes, Vacation Bible School, and seasonal activities. Preschool and toddler care is available during the Sunday morning schedule. The chancel choir contributes weekly, while young adults also share food and discussion on the first Sunday evening of each month. Local outreach has included school backpacks and holiday assistance for nearby families, and mission partnerships range from Fairfax-area service organizations to Baptist networks and international work. The church's beliefs affirm biblical authority, salvation by grace through faith, spiritual gifts for service, believer's baptism by immersion, and opportunities for both women and men in ministry and leadership. A visitor can combine the class, worship, and fellowship hours for a full introduction or watch online before attending.
