Charity Baptist Church

About this church

Charity Baptist Church in McLean starts Sunday mornings with Bible study for all ages at 9:45 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:45 a.m. A Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer time meets at 7 p.m. Times can shift, so confirm them on the church's website before visiting. The church describes itself as an independent Baptist congregation with a theologically conservative outlook, and its services blend traditional and contemporary music. Sermons work through Scripture and are meant to speak both to longtime believers and to people still exploring faith, with an emphasis on putting the Bible into practice in daily life.

Beyond Sunday, the congregation lists Bible teaching, encouraging believers through local ministry, serving the surrounding community and sharing the gospel among its priorities. The online calendar shows recurring gatherings such as the Wednesday prayer service. Anyone unable to attend in person can join the Sunday morning service live or watch recorded sermons on the website's sermons page and the church's YouTube channel, and the church also posts updates on Facebook. The building is at 1328 Spring Hill Road, and questions can go to the church office at 703-893-2177 or through the contact form on the website.
