McLean Baptist Church

About this church

McLean Baptist Church currently gathers at 10:00 a.m. Sunday during its July 5–September 6 summer schedule, both in person and online through Facebook, Vimeo, and YouTube. Worship aims to speak to the present while remaining rooted in tradition, with Scripture, prayer, music, and preaching at the center. Children and teenagers regularly contribute music, and older children sometimes read Scripture, reinforcing the congregation's intergenerational character. Large-print hymnals and hearing devices are available.

The church describes its inclusion in theological and practical terms, welcoming people into a community where questions, fellowship, challenge, and grace accompany following Jesus. Children's worship packets are available in the narthex, and faith formation serves children, youth, young adults, and adults. English classes, music, and missions connect the Chain Bridge Road campus to McLean's international and local community. Drivers can choose a small lot north of the sanctuary entrance or a larger lot south of it at Calder and Brawner. Because the summer schedule ends September 6, visitors coming later should check the official worship page for the restored seasonal times rather than assume 10:00 remains year-round.
