Redeeming Grace Church

About this church

Redeeming Grace Church worships Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the facilities of Oak Harbor Christian Reformed Church at the corner of Wieldraayer and Swantown roads. Visitors should look for Redeeming Grace signs rather than assume the host congregation's name marks the wrong building. Worship includes Psalms, hymns, biblical songs, prayer, giving, Scripture reading, expository preaching, and the Lord's Supper every week. Baptized Christians trusting Christ and seeking to live faithfully are invited to Communion. A livestream and service resources are published for those joining remotely or preparing beforehand.

Nursery serves birth through age four, and a narthex or library area gives parents another option with small children. Ages five through eight may attend Worshippers in Training during the sermon and return for Communion, entirely at parental discretion. Redeeming Grace is a Particular or Reformed Baptist church informed by the 1689 London Baptist Confession and affiliated with the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals. Additional Sunday gatherings include Reformed-theology teaching on second and fourth Sundays at 4:00 p.m., prayer on third Sundays, and first-Sunday food, fellowship, and singing. The church also leads a brief 9:30 Sunday service at a local memory-care community and supports Reformed Baptist mission work in Nantes, France.
