Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church

About this church

Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church is a Christian Reformed congregation in Washington’s Yakima Valley. Its faith is grounded in Scripture and historic Reformed confessions, including the Belgic Confession. The church’s history is intertwined with the agricultural settlement of Sunnyside and the wider Christian Reformed denomination, whose early American congregations combined worship, education, and community formation. Today, children’s and youth ministries create positive settings for learning Scripture and experiencing Jesus’ love. High-school ministry partners with Sunnyside First Baptist and Young Life through CityWide, while WyldLife serves middle-school students.

Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m. at 700 North 16th Street and streams on YouTube and Vimeo. The church office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Members can access the bulletin and directory through the church’s online system, while public visitors can watch recent services and review the calendar. Missionary support extends congregational relationships beyond Sunnyside. Because CityWide, WyldLife, and other youth activities operate through partnerships and changing school-year calendars, families should contact the church for current meeting locations and times rather than assume they occur alongside the Sunday service.
