Blessed Savior Lutheran Church

About this church

Blessed Savior Lutheran Church is an LCMS congregation in New Berlin centered on hearing God’s Word, receiving the sacraments, and sharing Christ’s love locally and beyond. Its church and early-childhood ministries serve households from baptism through high school, while online service archives give visitors a current picture of preaching and the Lutheran calendar. The congregation also hosts Bible studies, music, fellowship, and an Early Childhood Center for children ages two through six.

Worship begins Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Children are welcome in the service, which includes a children’s message before the sermon; activity bags are available, and a nursery allows a parent to step out while remaining connected to worship. Greeters inside the door answer questions, dress ranges from jeans to traditional Sunday clothing, and coffee and sweets support conversation around the service. From September through May, Sunday School for ages three through eighth grade meets from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., overlapping part of the worship hour. Confirmation instruction for grades six through eight meets weekly from September through April, with the Rite of Confirmation on the first Sunday in May. Current sermons are posted through the worship archive.
