Christ Community Church

About this church

Christ Community Church in Sheboygan gathers for Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m. and streams the service live. The Christian Reformed congregation blends contemporary and traditional music, and clothing ranges from suits and jackets to casual attire. The Lord’s Supper is normally celebrated on the first Sunday of the month and is open to people who profess faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. After worship, conversation continues outside the sanctuary and downstairs over coffee and cookies, an informal setting the church says often feels to visitors like a family reunion.

During the school year, children and adults have Sunday classes. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade meet at 9:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall; grades six through twelve meet at the BRICK house next door. Children ages three through kindergarten may go to the nursery after the Youth Moment in worship. The church also supports Sheboygan Christian School, a 3K–12 school serving hundreds of students from many area congregations. Through the FirstHope Community Meal, Christ Community partners with Hope Church and Faith Reformed Church to serve a free monthly meal open to everyone. These details show a church combining Reformed teaching, mixed-style music, education, and cooperative neighborhood service.
