Hainesville Lutheran Church

About this church

Hainesville Lutheran Church is a rural Sturgeon Bay-area congregation built by its members in 1909 and originally worshiping in Norwegian. Today it combines Lutheran worship with Bible study, children’s formation, quilting, prayer shawls, fellowship, and local and international relief. Handmade quilts support Lutheran World Relief, while smaller items and prayer shawls serve neighbors and help sustain the ministry.

Year-round Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and is later available through the church’s YouTube channel. From September through May, Sunday School for children age three through fifth grade begins as part of the same 9:30 service rather than in a separate earlier hour. A men’s breakfast and Bible study meets weekly at 8:00 a.m.; the homepage should be checked for its weekday. Bible study meets on the second Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., and quilters gather on the fourth Tuesday at 9:00. The directory’s abbreviated “3944 CR-M” should be replaced with the official full address, 3944 County Road M, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin 54235. Visitors should expect a countryside location a short drive from the city and use the contact page for directions.
