Restoration Church Wausau

About this church

Restoration Church Wausau is a Christian and Missionary Alliance congregation centered on worship, biblical teaching, prayer, community, and sharing the gospel locally and globally. Its stated values include pursuing connection and loving community while joining Jesus’ mission rather than treating faith as a program of self-improvement. The church’s Alliance affiliation gives missions a visible place in congregational life, including support for workers through the denomination’s Great Commission Fund. Nursery care and children’s church make Sunday participation more accessible for families, with age-specific ministry continuing beyond the main gathering.

Services meet Sundays at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. at 2125 Franklin Street in Wausau; the 8:30 service is livestreamed on YouTube. Nursery care is available during both services, and children from prekindergarten through second grade are dismissed to children’s church after the musical worship portion. The church explicitly welcomes casual dress and says visitors will see everything from jeans to more formal clothing. Its visitor page also explains the denomination for guests unfamiliar with the Alliance. Families should consult the church for the current schedule for older children and other weekly ministries.
