What Does 1 Chronicles 26:3 Mean?
The list of Meshelemiah's sons closes with the fifth, sixth, and seventh names, rounding out a full company of seven. Seven often marks completeness in Scripture, a household whole and ready for service.
A family fully accounted for stands ready to serve. What looks like a bare list is in truth a record of faithfulness, generation handing duty to generation at the doors of the Lord's house.
