What Does 1 Samuel 15:30 Mean?
Saul confesses a second time, yet his deepest plea slips out: honour me now before the elders and before Israel. Even in admitting sin, he is most concerned with his standing in the eyes of the people.
The fear of man that caused his fall still rules him in his sorrow. He wants to be seen worshiping more than he wants to worship.
