Likewise good works are often evident, and even those done quietly cannot stay hidden forever.

What Does 1 Timothy 5:25 Mean?

As with sins, so with good works: some are plain to see, while others are quiet, yet in the end they cannot remain hidden either.

Paul offers a comforting truth. Hidden goodness is not lost; it will come to light in God's time. The faithful need not parade their good deeds, for what is done in love will not finally be overlooked.
