What Does 2 Kings 11:7 Mean?
Jehoiada assigns the larger force, two companies, to gather around the king himself at the house of the Lord. The greatest concentration of strength is placed where the king stands. The plan funnels all its protection toward the one person on whom the future of the kingdom now rests.
