What Does 2 Samuel 22:33 Mean?

David confesses the source of all he has done: 'God is my strength and power.' What looked like David's prowess was in truth God's might at work in him. And the same God who is 'perfect' in His way (v. 31) now makes David's way perfect too.

There is a beautiful exchange here. God's perfection becomes the believer's path. We do not generate our own strength or smooth our own road; He supplies the power and clears the way. The life surrendered to God is lifted into the perfection of God's own purpose.
