What Does Acts 7:24 Mean?
Stephen retells Exodus 2:11-12 plainly: Moses saw injustice, took the side of the oppressed, and avenged him.
The zeal was real, and forty more years of shaping still lay ahead. Stephen frames the act as the first flash of a calling, the defender stirred before the commission came. God forms deliverers slowly, and their first attempts are rarely their finest.
