What Does Acts 9:25 Mean?
Houses were built against the city wall with windows opening outward — the same way the spies escaped Jericho from Rahab’s house (Joshua 2:15). Paul never forgot the indignity or the grace of it: “through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall” (2 Corinthians 11:33).
Notice the plural: the disciples — the community he came to destroy — risk their lives to save his.
