Daniel 4:1 Meaning and Explanation

This chapter is unusual: it reads as a royal decree written by Nebuchadnezzar himself, addressed to every nation under his sway. The most powerful man in the known world is about to tell, in his own words, a story of how he was humbled. The greeting echoes the courtly style of an empire-wide announcement.

That a pagan emperor would publish a testimony of God's dealing with him is itself a wonder.
