What Does Daniel 8:7 Mean?
The goat closes with the ram in bitter rage, breaks both its horns, casts it to the ground, and tramples it underfoot. The empire that had pushed west, north, and south, against which no beast could stand, is now utterly overthrown. The very words once spoken of the ram, that none could deliver out of its hand, are now turned against it.
