What Does Exodus 29:15 Mean?

A ram is brought forward, and Aaron and his sons place their hands upon its head. This second major animal in the ordination ceremony will be offered as a burnt offering—wholly consumed by fire.

The burnt offering follows the sin offering in the sequence, showing that after atonement comes complete devotion and surrender of the whole person to God.
