Noah and his family step out into a brand-new world. And God paints something in the sky they'll never forget.
Today's Story
Noah, his family, and all the animals came out into the fresh, clean world. God blessed them and said, “Fill the earth again. Have families. Take good care of the world I made.”
Then God made Noah a wonderful promise. “Never again will I send a flood to cover the whole earth. I promise.”
And to help everyone remember the promise, God gave a beautiful sign. “Look up,” God said. And there, arching across the clouds, was a rainbow — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, stretching from one side of the sky to the other.
“Whenever it rains and you see the rainbow,” God said, “remember this: I keep My promises. Every single time.”
So from that day on, whenever the rain clears and a rainbow shines, it's a little reminder hanging right there in the sky — God remembers, and God always keeps His word.
