What Does Haggai 2:10 Mean?
A third dated message arrives, now about three months after the work resumed. The careful record of the day marks a new oracle, one that will turn from encouragement to a searching lesson about holiness. The same prophet, the same divine word, addresses the people at a fresh point in their labor.
God's word continues to come at appointed times, never haphazardly. As the building advances, the Lord deepens His people's understanding—not content merely to get the structure raised, but concerned with the state of the hearts that raise it. The progression of dated messages shows a God who walks with His people through a whole season of work, teaching them step by step what it means to serve Him rightly, not just busily.
