Hosea 13:12 Meaning and Explanation

Using the language of records and treasuries, the verse declares that Ephraim's iniquity is bound up and his sin is hid, that is, gathered, sealed, and stored away. This is not the hiddenness of forgiveness but of careful keeping. The sins the people imagined were out of sight are in fact laid up, preserved, awaiting the day of reckoning.
