What was taken in judgment is now restored in love. The vineyards return. The Valley of Achor -- whose name means 'trouble,' the place of Israel's sin and judgment at Jericho -- is transformed into a 'door of hope.' The people will sing again as in the days of their youth, recalling the joy of the Exodus.
