What Does Job 10:15 Mean?
Job describes a despair that seems to have no exit. If he is guilty, woe is upon him; but even if he is in the right, he cannot raise his head, so bowed down is he by affliction. Filled with 'confusion' -- shame and disgrace -- he can only ask God to look upon his misery.
This is the cry of a soul that has run out of self-justification and can do nothing but be seen. And being seen by God is, in the end, the beginning of grace. The Lord does look on affliction; He stoops to the bowed and the ashamed. The head Job cannot lift, Christ lifts for all who hide their faces in their grief.
