What Does Job 36:22 Mean?
Here the speech turns upward. Elihu calls Job to behold God, lifted high in His own power, and asks a question that expects no rival: who is a teacher like Him? The argument now gives way to adoration.
To confess God as the supreme teacher is to bow before a wisdom no human master can equal. This is the very claim the Gospel makes for Jesus, whose hearers marveled that He taught with authority, the eternal Teacher in whom the wisdom of God comes near to instruct His people.
