What Does Joshua 15:1 Mean?
After the conquest, the land begins to be divided among the tribes. Judah is named first, and rightly so, for through this tribe the kings of Israel and at last the Messiah would come. The boundary runs all the way south to the wilderness of Zin, touching Edom, the country of Esau's descendants.
