Beyond its main territory, Manasseh was granted certain cities within the lands of Issachar and Asher: Bethshean, Ibleam, Dor, Endor, Taanach, and Megiddo, each with its dependent towns, three districts in all. These were strategic and fertile places set among the neighboring tribes.
