Judges 10:13 Meaning and Explanation

After recounting His mercies, God names the wound: despite all His rescues, Israel has forsaken Him and served other gods. Therefore He declares that He will deliver them no more. The sentence falls heavily after the long memory of grace.

These words are severe, yet they are the language of a love that has been spurned once too often. God will not be treated as a convenience, summoned only in crisis and abandoned in comfort. The refusal is meant to shake Israel awake, to make them feel the seriousness of what they have done.
