Ehud gives the battle cry: Follow after me, for the LORD hath delivered your enemies. The people respond, seizing the fords of the Jordan toward Moab and cutting off any Moabite escape across the river.
Notice that Ehud credits the LORD, not himself, with the victory even before it is fully won. He calls Israel to act on a deliverance God has already granted. Faith moves forward on God's promise, taking the ground that He has given.
