Jude is a tiny book near the very end of the Bible. It is a letter — like a note someone mails to people they love.
Today's Story
A man named Jude sat down to write a letter. He wanted to help God's family love God and love each other — and to stay close to Him no matter what.
Jude told them something warm right at the start. He said they were “loved by God.” Not sometimes. All the time. God was holding on to them tight.
Then Jude gave them a job for their hearts. “Stay in God's love,” he wrote. He meant: keep close to God. Keep talking to Him. Keep trusting Him, even when things feel hard or scary.
Some people were trying to pull God's family the wrong way, away from God. Jude said, do not follow them. Be kind. Help your friends who are wobbling. Hold on to what is true.
And then Jude wrote the happiest part of all. He said God is strong enough to keep us from falling. One day God will bring us right up close to Him — with a great big shout of joy! Like the best welcome-home party you can imagine.
So Jude was telling them: you are safe. God has you. Keep holding His hand.
