Romans is a letter Paul wrote to help God's family love God and love each other.
Today's Story
Paul is still writing his letter to God's family. Today he wants everyone to know something big: God never gives up on His people.
Some people had forgotten about God. They turned away and stopped listening. You might think, “Well, that's the end. God is finished with them now.” But Paul says no! “God has not turned his back on his people,” he writes. God is still loving them and still calling them home.
Then Paul draws a picture with words. He talks about a tree — a big, healthy olive tree with deep roots. Some branches had broken off. But God took other branches and grafted them in, so they could grow on the strong tree too. That tree is God's big family. And guess what? There's room on it for everyone — you too!
Paul thinks about how kind and wise God is, and he can hardly sit still. He bursts out, “How rich are God's wisdom and knowledge! No one can ever understand all He does!” God's love is so big and so deep that it makes Paul want to sing.
