What Does Luke 17:19 Mean?
To all ten was given cleansing; to the one who returned, Jesus speaks a further word. "Made thee whole" translates the Bible's great word for saving — the same word used when Jesus forgives sins and rescues the lost.
All ten received new skin; this man, at Jesus' feet, receives wholeness of the entire person, sealed by the Savior's own voice.
