What Does Luke 18:15 Mean?
Luke uses the word for infants — children small enough to be carried in arms. Parents wanted Jesus' hands laid on their little ones in blessing, an old and tender instinct of faith. The disciples, guarding their Master's time and importance, treat the children as an interruption to the real work.
