What Does Luke 19:9 Mean?
He speaks to Zacchaeus but answers the crowd. This day echoes the urgency of the whole scene: today I must abide, today salvation has come. Son of Abraham restores what the town had revoked; the man they cut off from Israel is named back into the family of promise.
