What Does Mark 16:10 Mean?
Mary obeys her commission. She finds the disciples where grief has gathered them — 'them that had been with him,' a tender name for the scattered band now defined by their loss. They weep for their Lord, and surely also over their own failures of the last days.
The first proclamation after the resurrection is one woman's testimony spoken into a room full of tears.
