What Does Mark 4:14 Mean?
The explanation opens with the shortest possible key. The seed is the word, the message of God that Jesus has been proclaiming: the kingdom is at hand, repent and believe the good news. Everything that follows in the interpretation hangs on this one identification.
Seed looks small and unimpressive in the hand, yet it carries life that whole barns cannot hold.
