What Does Mark 5:14 Mean?
The swineherds run -- their livelihood has just gone over a cliff -- and tell the story in the city and the farms. Their report empties the region: "they went out to see what it was that was done."
News of Jesus has a way of summoning everyone to look. The whole countryside now walks toward the shore where a man they had given up on sits delivered.
