What Does Mark 6:13 Mean?
The authority Jesus granted proves real in their hands: demons are driven out, and the sick are anointed with oil and healed. The oil, a common balm of that world, becomes the touchable sign of an uncommon mercy, healing that flows from the Lord whose message they preach.
