What Does Mark 6:41 Mean?
The decisive verbs arrive in quiet succession: he took, he looked up to heaven, he blessed, he brake, he gave. The eyes lifted heavenward confess before the whole crowd where bread comes from. Then the disciples become waiters of the miracle, carrying from his hands to every rank on the grass.
