What Does Matthew 12:13 Mean?
Jesus speaks a simple command: stretch out your hand. The man obeys, and as he does, the withered hand is made whole, restored like the other. There is no labor, no medicine, only the word of Christ and the man's act of faith in obeying it.
The healing answers the critics without a word of further argument. The day of rest becomes a day of restoration.
